Csar, that first one is VERY Hollywood Confidential! I can picture you in a slouchy Fedora and trenchcoat. And very clever on number 2!

Rainbows at my fingertips

words written clearly
love blooms wild, free, colorful
hurt erases it
Becca,I especially liked your images: the pigmented rainbow and then one simple word on the chalkboard; I also liked your use of "erases".
DeleteHI Fleur,
ReplyDeletecongratulations on the win! I lost track of the game for a few weeks but...chalk it up to Autumnal distractions!
Here are my two, no visuals this time.

Yes. I will. I do.
Hi, Fishy! you know I am a sucker for tortured love haiku! Excellent!
DeleteGood evening Fleur,
ReplyDeleteTwo presented for your entertainment, I hope you enjoy.

Gee whiz, get a grip?
The first one isn't the scene I wanted. So I went with my favorite. And the second, well all's I can say is, I understand why the society is crumbling before us
Mary and Bert poppin through the sidewalk chalk art into an animated world...changed the scope of cinema forever. Great haiku as always.
DeleteKarl, most entertaining! I have to say, you get extra points for introducing me to the fascinating world of chalk hair-coloring! I must look askance at your looking askance at it!
DeleteFleur:
ReplyDeletePer usual, found me a nice, cozy spot smack dab in the gutter and, unable to help ma' damn self, I just HAD to leave my mark:
Dumper did'ling dog
Chalky drizzle laid in waste
'Nother me won't be
In addition to a visual of wieners on the barbie plump'd from the cook'n, I've writ an ode in your honor with a bit of tongue (?) in my cheek (YUMMY!!). You may wish to skip it, though, as...well...ya' know...it's a might blue...
SMILES--
Rafa
Really: can a person ever resist a poem written in her honor? And nothing can beat (pardon the pun) your haiku for "blueness."
DeleteHi Fleur,
ReplyDeleteInteresting theme. My first one goes with the visual at http://serendipitouswildmoments.wordpress.com/2012/10/22/haiku-monday-chalk/. The second probably works fine with the imagination of a remembered childhood.
Chalky streaks on cliffs.
Rock climbers or falcon nest?
Watch out — dive bomber!
Second:
Chalk lines on sidewalk.
Multicolor childhood games.
Careless summers past.
Good luck all. Serendipity
Loved your visuals. Elegant haiku and use of images.
