Haiku Monday: Dance

Swooping sleight of hand.
Lush charade mesmerizes;
plume insouciance.

  1. Youch! Some of you ladies are turning on even my back burners. *zoom* And I thought I was a devil. Oh, but of course, you all do it naturally and innocently. /cheah right

    *laughs*

    1. Honestly, Doom, it doesn't seem like it takes much to get you going! You are right behind Rafa.

    2. Actually, other than in the flesh, I am usually a hard win. Reading, pictures, most things don't turn my crank. A pair of cold one's on my back turns my stomach, but... Not much else. That is why I am so surprised. Must be the moon? I'm as close as a man looking for a wife can be to a monk... urhm... mostly. Seriously.

      Ah well, there is next time. :p

  3. Hehehe

    I hate when I miss the point with a hammer. Black and blue but it's my calling card, Aunty.

    As cheekily delicious as this haiku is, I saw a first entry from you on Feedly, that gave me a thirst in my most primal of areas... super smart road back to our most ritualistic roots. Did you delete it? Shoot; for me...(?) DING, DING DING; WINNER!

    Not sure who's more on fire this summer...you or Foam!
    ME-OWE to the both of you's.

    1. Hey, Raffy. Yes, I DID delete it! I thought maybe it was too earnest. But if YOU liked it, maybe I underestimated it. Thank you!

    2. It may not have had your usual zing of the romantic, so I can see why you may not have been as drawn to it.

      From a male perspective, it was strong and sexual, but in a masculine, almost animal way. Not meaning to take away from your entry, as it was super smart as well. Your rain dance just seemed to hit the core of good haiku.
